Tom, Amazing price paid for something that it really wasn't! To put eBay prices in the correct perspective (if there truly is such a thing), I offered an original condition early 1960s Cinelli SC frameset along with it's original badged steel stem, bars, Unica seatpost and saddle earlier this year on eBay and sold it for a little under $2000.00. It was right as rain as opposed to the example being currently discussed. I have photos of it out on Wool Jersey. Just goes to show what some people are willing to spend their money on,,,,provided this frame actually sold, as many games are played on eBay since bidder IDs are concealed.
