Derek Willburn showed that he has a bike with the identical frameset, and someone "in the know" in Southern Cali, (a known Colnago collector, I presume) ID'd it as a "Nuovo Mexico Profil CX" from 1984. A pic of Derek's bike shows that it is exactly the same. So ... it's a Mexico, AND a Profil CX ... how about them apples!
