The bolts and bolt holes are different. The 63 has modern-style c'ring bolts.

Wow, $700! And to think I have one of these beauties in top condition! Now I'm jonesin' to see if I can top the $629 that I got for a pair of titanium Sims Lightning cranks a few years back. Of the two top bidders on my Ti cranks, one was a crank collector (Europe), the other (Japan) bought nothing but Ti, based on their respective histories.

Maybe a dumb question, but what is the difference between Stronglight 57 and 63 cranks? There are some visible differences in the chainrings but the cranks look very similar.
