Merckx during the Faema days rode one bike with that crown by the way He commented that the cable braze ons look wrong period. Indeed. From my observation, anytime a bike has been repainted updating is often seen and forgotten or omitted in the description upon sale. These for a long time were just outdated bikes with too narrow a rear triangle, needing long reach brakes and not getting much attention. Clamp on bits were a higher maintenance region than braze ons often.
