Hi, Steven & CR---
I have in hand an advert for The New Humber Beeston Clubman from THE BICYCLE mag, Sep 6, 1950, and at the bottom of the ad is the image of Sir Walter with "A product of Raleigh Industries Limited, Nottingham." No TI (Tube Investments) logo yet.
BUT.....in fact Raleigh had purchased Humber MUCH EARLIER, in 1932, according to this short wikipedia article with links to a few other sites.

> Can anyone recount the relationship
\r?\n> of these two companies I assumed Humber
\r?\n> was another independent that Raleigh purchased. When I
\r?\n> bought my Humber
\r?\n> Clipper Grand Prix in 1964 I was led to believe it had just
\r?\n> happened. Ted's
\r?\n> post earlier mentioned a 1951 Humber Clubman
\r?\n> {Raleigh}. Had Raleigh
\r?\n> purchased Humber by 1951? Thanks in advance.
