Subject: [CR] Campy BMX crank details

I am holding in my hot little hands an actual Campy BMX crank. Gold anodized to boot.

There are NO shoulders for the inner chainring at all. The arms are stamped STRADA with a zero in a circle.

Surface finish is not as polished as a standard road arm, but the forging is the same. Flute is milled into the arm and tapers slightly towards the pedal eye.

I bought these new from Euro-Asia Imports back in the mid 1990's. I remember they were on close-out for the princely sum of $49.99 with the 42 tooth chainring.

Absolutely NO ONE could have possibly guessed that youngsters would EVER have developed a fashion trend about riding fixed gear style things ?

Maybe that means I was a Hipster before my time ? Ha Ha Ha Ha !
