Jon and all,

I truly don't think they are partially drilled holes in the BB shell of my early 1960s Cinelli SC. I suspected that were marks left from an early workstand??? The depressions are very shallow and I feel they honestly do not detract from the frameset. Large resolution close-up photos make them look far worse than they appear.

After all, how often do you find an early Cinelli like this in 100% original condition with the extra Cinelli components???

Thanks for your comments. Kevin Kruger - Grantville, PA

Kevin,

Quite a nice-looking and historically significant frame. (Not my size or Linda's however...:-(

Were the partial holes in the BB drilled by a previous owner? I assume (!) that the random-looking holes would not have been drilled by Cinelli...
