Here's a handy way to locate vintage bikes on sale in the U.S.

this is a search for raleigh comps, obviously, but type any model you'd like in the yellow search field at the top and you are in business -- it searches CraigsList ads all over the country.

Some fun studies of what's out there can be done: e.g., searching "Schwinn Letour", and "Schwinn Le Tour" separately totally more than 200 ads.
