My Scheeren rims [28s] originally laced, tied & soldered to a pair of double fixed Milremo large flange hubs....now replacced by the gorgeous Sun Tour Superbe [with oval cutouts] where labelled 'RECORD'
Used them on the hard track, time trials...even up to 100miles.......and hill climbs, so despite been very light they are robust enough.
