hi dave, earlier campy parts had something like 7 rays per hemisphere of the globe.. later ones have something like 5 per half.. ealier clamp on parts also had a 'loopier' and more flamboyant script in their logo, and the clamp bands themselves were narrower than later versions.

off the top of my head, the shift probably took place around 1957...
