Thank you to those who corrected me on my item (on ebay) not being Raleigh Record Ace. I just took the auction down. A collector who visited me told me they were Record Ace, and some internet snooping on my part seemed to confirm it -- I got caught-up by Herons on the rings, and that my Dad had a Record Ace many years ago. I certainly wasn't trying to dupe anyone.
There's fantastic knowledge on this list -- cheers to that! Now who's going to help with the ID of the mystery frame, pics posted to photobucket? >;

Err no... upon a second look, this is a LENTON SPORTS chainset. That for the Clubmans had more delicate fluted cranks.
