It just hreads on and can be unthreaded just like a cog. The left flange is a ress fit, so it can be aligned with the spoke holes between those of he well-seated right flange. In theory, if there weren't a locknut on he track cog, and it were set up loose, the flange could try to move ackwards if the rider tried to backpedal. Oddly enough, the Paramount ocknut is not British standard, but my accepts an Italian/Campagnolo unit. harvey sachs
