There are many people with unrealistic expectations!
I recently acquired a very nice complete, all original '73 model in blue for $1000.00. A good clean and polish, and new cables etc will make it look just as nice as this one.

Nice lookin bike but too steep for me. I believe not too long ago there was another fellow on ebay trying to sell a nice Raliegh pro for 7-8 grand . He was supposedly told by a lbs that that was what it was worth. It was quickly pointed out to him by several list members that New Raliegh Pros still in the original box often sell for around 3 grand. Who's BS'IN who.....
