One advantage of the Masi 3v in a large frame size, other than its ride, is that it visually mitigates the "fat tubes" appearance and looks, I think, better than conventional frames in 62 cm and larger sizes. The proportions just come together very well.

It was mentioned by a Lister that both these "ride like they are on rails" and that's absolutely my impression. Of all my machines, both the 3v and the GC have this amazing sure-footed tracking unlike anything else even more than Cinelli SC. Both my 74 Colnago Super and 75 Gios are more lively in handling and touch than the Masi GC but they lack this "on rails" quality that's much appreciated on longer rides. Interestingly, in this large frame size, the Masi GC has beefier seat stays than smaller sizes, something not found on the Colnago or Gios or at least on mine.
