... can be seen on my 1954 Gillott on http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/theilmeit. I have not seen the frame unpainted, but it is quite clear that the hanger is integral.

I have in the meantime rectified the Simplex derailleur cage position. Used to fix a lot of these during college days for re-sale or repairs; I can´t say why I got this one wrong - must have been dazed by the wonderful dropouts.
