Hello all.
I relocated recently to my home state of California, after ten years in NYC. Here's some stuff I'm choosing to move along--parts that may help some of you complete a project. Prices include shipping in the continental U.S.; payment via Paypal, please. Offers considered. Package deals made.
Local pick-up in San Diego is fine, and encouraged. Can meet you at one of the coffeehouses, say.
1. Huret Jubilee long-cage rear derailleur, very clean used condition: $125 (ball-bearing cogs, teeth show next to know wear).
2. Campagnolo seatpin / seatpost, new-in-box, 25.8mm: $85
3. 1950s / 60s French moustache / town bars, steel, 25.0mm diameter at stem, 18 1/4" width c-t-c; about 1 1/2" drop or rise. Very good condition / nice chrome. $35
4. Resilion rear hub, '50s, steel, 40-spoke, new / unused, spaced at 120mm, solid axle with flats. $50
5. Sakae / SR randonneur bars, good used, zig-zag marks but under tape areas, clean centers, 42mm c-t-c . Marked B-76 and R420 on right hand bar end. Typical "Sakae Randnner Japan" and "SR Road Champion" wreath engravings at center. Pretty. 1976? $30 includes shipping. Just right for that Fuji you're running, for example.
6. Late '70s / earliest '80s 3ttt smoothie stem, engraved "3ttt Italy" on top front, also marked "120mm" (length of extension). Clean used condition, several minutest pinprick-type marks but high polish and clean-looking. $30. Looks like Cinelli, but more ridged (ovoid cross-section). You've seen them. I think this one was mounted on a Colnago.
7. Scott SE Pederson Cantilever brakeset, decent used condition, black anodized, a little dusty looking & some tarnish on bolt heads. Complete set removed from an early-'80s custom Sterling touring frame. $24 shipped. Very determined-looking hardware with three circular cut-outs on each arm.
8. 1980s Look "La Vie Claire" water bottle by Mariplast, Milano. Good used, graphics excellent, a little ground in dirt but visual effect still says "look!" with Mondrian-derived graphis scheme. $14 shipped.
9. CLB 1 centrepull brake (front), for parts. Lefthand arm is bent. Distinctive and visually necessary pair of black plastic covers, however, are present. Polished aluminum version, back of bridge is marked "FC 1165" and these sure look like a 1965 design, same philosophy as period Premier drum hardware. Manufactured into the '80s, though. $9 shipped, or three dollars with any other purchase. Complete less shoes and straddle wire. Junk, but junk somebody needs! How about: free, if you spend more than fifty with me.
10. Suntour 106 platform pedals, good condition with some wear to blue / gray anodizing. Tapering design with more under the toe. Good bearings. Less clips. $18 shipped.
11. Raleigh DL-1 parts lot: front headlight bracket with heron design, "hockey stick" chainguard--both 1968. "Average"used condition. "Raleigh Roadster" 40-635 (28" x 1 1/2") blackwall tyre, low mileage used. All, $28 shipped.
12. -- 27 x 1 1/8 high pressure clinchers, low mileage used, Performance (brand), model GT/K, 105 psi. $25 shipped or $15 with any other purchase. Tan sidewalls are clean but age-darkened a little. Tread looks new. Installed, but basically un-ridden. Classic herringbone pattern with smooth, raised center section. Were these made by Panaracer? Made in Japan. 28 - 630 (630mm bead seat dia). Removed from a '70s bike, but likely manufactured in the '80s.
13. Ideale No. 6 saddle, short model with curled double rails, brown leather, good used but slightly flared out and not soft! But looking good, and includes clamp. $35 shipped.
14. Unicanitor, leather over plastic, '60s. Excellent, beautiful condition--except leather rubbed through on one back corner / edge, about the size of two overlapping dimes or less, typical wall-type rub. Happened in too-tightly-packed truck during cross-country move. Very usable, but since it happened on my watch, I can't look at it. Was on a circa '61 Frejus, fortunately no other damage to the bike. Have gone to Brooks on that one now. $40 shipped, or 25 with other purchase here.
15. Raleigh 'Sports' (city bike) brake levers, might be appropriate for some Lenton models as well, as these are the early ones. Attractive cut-out version, perforated bodies, '50s / '60s. Chromed steel. A pair, left and right, nice used condition though not 'show.' $19 shipped.
Thanks for reading through this list! Hope something here helps you. Don't be shy about writing off-list with questions--but I've got a camera deficit at the moment.
International shipping is possible and even desirable, but a little more expensive. Talk to me.
Best Regards,
Tom Ward Bonita, California, USA
