Hi all. Chuc Hoefer's remarks are well chosen. But in answer to Charles Andrews' specific concerns about 4X, small flange: If i recall corectly, at least w/ certain common spoke counts, spokes laced this way acyually lie on the flange and cross over other spoke heads. Kind of ungainly and may have loosening, squeaking issues. I'm sure others on the list can weigh in. Billy Ketchum; Chicago, IL; USA.
