There were lots of team bikes from Rene Herse with riveted-on "grandes flasques." The tandem that came first in Paris-Brest-Paris (see "The Competition Bicycle") was equipped with them.
Ernest Csuka's Alex Singer tandem also had riveted "Grandes Flasques."
We used a rear Maxi-Car hub with riveted Alex Singer "Grandes Flasques" on our tandem in Paris-Brest-Paris 2003. If you are wondering whether those riveted large flanges are reliable, I can confirm that we had no problems, even though that hub had seen many, many miles before we got it.
As to the Prior hubs, there was a Barra with those hubs in Bicycle Quarterly a few years back, in the issue about light weight (Vol. 6, No. 4). I have never seen a photo of somebody riding a bike with those hubs, though.
