I have a Double Blue acquired as frame and fork from Tom Hayes some years ago. Originally specified with the Shimano 600 "Arabesque" group and 27 inch Mavic "E" rims, it serves as the winter hack that resides at my office. I understand that these suffered from finish problems and mine shows evidence of poor prep prior to paint based on areas of paint lifting, especially in the vicinity of the headlugs. Joinery is a bit on the workmanlike side but it is full 531DB and the front fork is 3/4 chromed - a nice touch in my opinion. Mine has pretty much a mutt build but it has good clearance for mudguards and, while a bit prosaic in appearance, it is certainly a Q-ship. I'm very fond of it.
