Hi Julian,

For safety sake and less headaches, take it to your local machine shop. They will most likely slip a caliper inside your seat tube and give you the size. I have wasted many $'s trying to trial and error and then I finally bought a nice pair of metric and standard calipers. Believe it or not, in the US the metrics were hard to find and I bought them at a vintage automobile swap meet. Best of luck to you,
