I have a 75 Alex Singer originally purchased through Cupertino Bike Shop that was re-sprayed by Vivanco (spelling?). If you have any more enlightenment on the man, please share.
The Singer seller said he believed Vivanco was more currently known for restoring woodies in Grass Valley, California.

Bought the frame at a garage sale in Palo Alto. Built it up with doublesided Gnutti rear (40H), steel stem and bars Cinelli of course, Berthet Pedals, Lycett Swallow steel campag post, Cinelli Cranks, Mars Red paintwork by Alan Vivanco. Campag 3 piece LF front, track nuts, 47x1 chainring, proper 1" chain, drilled before I got it for a front brake. On display at Hjertbergs downtown for some time. Last heard of residing somewhere in the Felton Boulder Creek area.
Any hints on who owns this bicycle now?
