I can't see how the KoolStop Campag pads will fit in Mafac holders without modification of the pad, and even then I'm not sure I would trust the fit.

HOWEVER, I have BREAKING NEWS (pun intended).

The KoolStop Mafac replacement pads in both black and salmon are finally available as of TODAY! I just got off the phone with KoolStop and I will be sending them an order tomorrow as soon as I receive pricing and quantities. I hope to have them within a week or so. I don't have confirmed pricing yet, but they should retail for about $20/$25 for a set of 4. This is something that has been the works for about 2 years or more. Mel was instrumental in convincing KoolStop that they should manufacture the Mafac pads, and it has finally come to fruition. Great news for vintage bike fans!

Stay tuned!!!

Anyone have any experience using the Koolstop "campy replacement pads" in Mafac brakes? Everyone who sells them advertises that they fit Mafac brake pad holders but I don't see how without modifing the pad or the holder. How did you do it?
