Offered to CR members are some interesting frames and good parts as well as a copy of the rather rare Russell Mockridge autobiography.
The 1974 Colnago Super frame and the 1937 Hetchins track frames are both still available from Sunday’s listings and I am open to offers.
I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal or cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller’s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer. I will always combine shipping in order to reduce costs.
All prices are in UK GBP Frames cost 80 GBP to ship to the USA, 100 GBP to ship to Australia/New Zealand and 11 GBP within the UK.
With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers. Paypal is quoting 1.55$ to 1 GBP.

CLAUD BUTLER AVANT COUREUR ROAD FRAME c1953
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 116mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C (brake drop 62mm)
Claud Butler’s Avant Coureur model was their top road frame in 1953.
This came to me just as a frame but I have managed to find a pair of
forks with exactly the correct fork crown. The Avant Coureur featured
bilaminated lugs. The Bilaminated form of construction was first
introduced by Claud Butler in 1948 on the first version of the Avant
Coureur model. Although bilaminated frames look as if they are built
with lugs they are in fact fillet brazed. The ‘lug parts’ are sleeves
which feature cut outs just like the ends of lugs. These are first
brazed onto the end of each tube to be joined. The tubes complete with
sleeves are then fillet brazed together. Claud Butler claimed that in
tests at the National Physical Laboratory this type of joint proved to
be 25% stronger than a conventional lugged joint. It certainly had other
advantages too – non standard tube sizes could be built into frames
easily and frame angles were not limited by the lug angles available.
This frame needs restoring; the top tube has a dent that needs filling
and the down tube has had a gear lever boss removed rather badly that
also needs filling. But once restored this frame will be really
stunning. 85 GBP

WOODRUP ROAD FRAME early 1970s all chrome
Seat Tube (ctt) : 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 55mm)
Bottom bracket threads: Britiah
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Woodrup road frames are really rather nice quality. This fully chromed
frame is really rather rare - the chrome is in generally excellent
condition and the frame has just one small dent visible in the photos on
the down tube behind the head lug from a brake having come round and hit
it. All chrome frames are very expensive because all the tubes have to
have extensive polishing before the plating. This is really a very
spectacular looking frame. 245 GBP
