Old Eisentraut "A" frames are generally pretty sweet. The one you have however, is definitely one of the sweetest Eisentraut bikes I have EVER seen. Thanks for sharing the photos. Outstanding!
Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA I am going to try to coax Albert out into the open to speak to a group at our bike show. Getting Albert out is very difficult.
I had my custon "A" made in 2000 and went back and forth with Eisentraut on the frame design and details -- I wanted Nervex Pros and he "suggested" he'd do it if I provided them : ) It turned out pretty sweet:

I never could picture his fastback stay treatment with Nervex until I opened the box and smiled! He related that he had built over 200 frames with Nervex lugs in his past.
I have seen hundreds of Eisentrauts being from the San Jose area, they were and are to me the pinnacle of custom frames.
