Offered to CR members are three track frames. The Dave Davey is especially nice.
I was surprised not to get any response from my frame listing earlier this week - the Lang track Motobecane Special Pro, Claud Butler are all still available.
I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal or cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller’s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer. I will always combine shipping in order to reduce costs.
All prices are in UK GBP Frames cost 80 GBP to ship to the USA, 100 GBP to ship to Australia/New Zealand and 11 GBP within the UK.
With the pound being still quite low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers. Paypal is quoting 1.55$ to 1 GBP.

Dave Davey was a shop in Haringey, north London in the late 50s and
1960s. They employed a nymber of the top framebuilders to build their
frames - almost certainly Les Ephgrave, Wally Green, Bill Grey (less
well known but he built the specials at Claud Butler and was chief
foremen framebuilder and later built some gorgeous frames for other
shops - I’ve seen some stunning frames made for Hinds of Ealing) and
maybe others... Please see

DON FARRELL TRACK FRAME 1960s Nervex Pro lugs

Don Farrell was a shop in between Colindale and Edgeware in north
London. Most of his frames from the 1950s or 60s were built by Wally
Green and this frame would look to be typical of Wally Green’s work.
There are some details on Wally Green at

The previous owner thought it was an Allin of Croydon - however I think
this to be very unlikely as the the A on the head tube does not match
Allin’s A and there is no frame number which would be in Allin’s
sequence. Whatever it’s a very nice pre track frame from the late 1960s
built with Prugnat single point lugs, Fischer track fork crown (as used
by many builders here and on the continent) and features a very neatly
done wrapover seatstay tops. The seatstay bridge is very nicely curved
and has added reinforcements. As with the Davey track frame clearances
are pretty tight with correspondingly steep head and seat tube angles.
It does need repainting but will be really quite special once restored.
