I just picked up a 1981 Merz track frame made using 753 tubing. I lost all my old bikes in the Big Sur fire that burned our home about 1 1/2 years ago. My idea was to have a nice bike from the time I was building frames. However I found out it had been repaired (not by me) in the past and some of the tubes are not usable. During the period that I made frames with 753 it was only available in metric (french) size tubes. I know this is going to be a difficult request, but does anyone know of a set of this tubing anywhere?
