I think I was on this mailing list before, but quite a long time ago, so hello again.
The reason for me re-joining? I have 3 'vintage' bikes to restore.
One is a 531 Mercian, and I'm just going to turn it into a round town bike, so nothing interesting to report here. Another is a frame that's been resprayed, and looks real quality, but no frame numbers or anything, so I'll just have to take lots of detailed photos, and hope you can work it out for me!
The last one though is a peach, but I really need some hepl identifying it further.
It's a Mercier. I know, because it has a nice crown stamped ontoeither side of the Fork Crown, embossed writing at the top of the chain stays, and basically looks very much like this one here:
