Nice to know about the builders of the Falcon professional frames.

How was the Sid Barras bike decaled? (I'm only familiar with the earlier team bikes that had the top tube /down tube panels like the early 70s San Remos.)

And what is a "FKW"?

And are you and Billie suggesting this is a re-badged Dawes?

More generally, did Falcon subcontract frame production to other makers?

I assumed that the decals on the OP's bike were authentic (including the Cro-Moly sticker)--and I have seen a slightly later "Ernie Clements" that used those Bocama style lugs and rear stay attachment even though these were both a departure from the early '70s models.

I never thought that it was a pro team bike, but that it was a stock bike that was being sold as "Professional" to cafe racer types.

Any or all information greatfully appreciated, since at some point I will need to re-write my Falcon piece on Sheldon's site.
