Hey all, a local shop has a '40's Paramount track bike on consignment and you could probably pick it up for under a grand.
The frame has been repainted and has no decals but head badge is in place. Wood rims with shot tubulars. High flange hubs (don't know brand) with wing nuts; no grease/dust caps; bearings are exposed; wheels spin nicely. Stem is not original; looks to be a later Ambrosio. Didn't measure frame but it looks to be about a 58 cm. Cottered cranks. I don't recall if the bike had pedals. These are all the details I can recall. I was in and out of the shop quickly.
Contact West County Revolution in Sebastopol, California. Their phone number is (707) 829-2192. They have a web presence but the bike is not on their web site. I can facilitate with the purchase, packing, etc. Just let me know.
Go get it!
