I am the original owner of this bike. It was purchased new in December 1974 from The Bike Barn in Duxbury, MA. I have the original sales receipt though it is heavily faded after 35+ years. The shop is long since gone. The bike was lightly and carefully ridden for about the first 7 or 8 years I owned it. Never raced, never crashed. In the early 80's I began to disassemble it for an overhaul. I never found the time to complete the overhaul project and the bike has been hanging in storage, unused ever since.
