Not to dive too deeply into this discussion but in fact the Victory and Triomphe groups both came out at the same time as C-Record.

We "unveiled" them at the 1984 Vegas Bike Show while I was with Campagnolo USA. In a odd twist, the Victory and Triomphe were spec'ed on a few bikes at that show, Trek was one if I recall correctly after 25 years, and were available to the buying public the next spring.

The C-Record wasn't yet in full production in September of 1984, we displayed prototypes of pista and corsa versions and as I related previously to the group the Delta Brake cover on the corsa display was broken before the end of day 1 and had to be viewed behind closed doors to select individuals.

Garth, this isn't the right group to complain to about folks not buying your Triomphe parts. I have nothing against the Triomphe or Victory parts, but they are not what traditionally would be discussed (or traded) here.

They are even later than C-Record and you know what controversy gets stirred up when that topic comes up! As I recall, the Triomphe group came out in 1986 or so. I'm also not surprised they aren't garnering the bids you might have expected when you can buy better quality parts for equally low prices. At that price point, what's a couple of bucks? Good luck.
