George and all,
With 5 days 23 hours to go the bidding is up to $1625 after 8 bids. This is a welcome and good sign. If I could ride a bike with such a short TT and had the money I would love to own this Colnago, but I'm certain it will go to a good home. The seller's description describes the bike and CR members' influence on his decision in detail. All to the good.
Jon Spangler pleased for the Colnago seller and for CR's successful intervention in Alameda, CA USA

The Colnago that was being parted out is now on Ebay as a complete bike. The seller has put a $999 starting bid on it with a ballsy no reserve. Since we seem to be responsible for this development I hope he gets a good price. At 51cm someone may want to tell him to ship to Asia.
