Well, I guess I was one of Kevin's less favorite CR list members------- :)
...but I was there too. It was the first time in years I have been there NOT selling anything. I went to deliver a few things to people, but primarily to pass out Cirque fliers. I did have a vendor wrist band, so I was in early. It was lots of fun actually being able to spend a little time shopping and talking without being in a hurry for a change. I bought a few interesting items, nothing really exotic, but I did find a somewhat neglected Ideale saddle that I'll try to nurse back to health some day. There was some pretty fun stuff about too, including several interesting bikes. I didn't have my camera, unfortunately. Rain did scare everyone a bit early on, but the weather got better as the day wore on even though it got a bit windy. I escaped early and was on my way home well before the bitter end.
I did meet someone there that led to me rescuing a few interesting bicycles just yesterday, but that 's a story for another day. Or maybe at the Cirque, more on that topic tomorrow!

Dale, thanks for asking about the latest TTown event. I sold almost everything I brought almost immediately after opening the lid to my wagon, which left me all the time during set-up to shop.
While I didn't buy much, I was happy with what I found, including a pair of NOS Schwinn Approved Super Champion tubular rims for my Paramount P-13. Also purchased a nice 1972 Schwinn Sports Tourer from Ray Homisky for resale.
Ran into several other of my favorite CR list members, including: - Tom Hayes - Charlie Petry - Mike Schmidt - Ray Homisky - Sam Fitzsimmons - the Fatmen "Daves" - Joel and Curtis from Via
There was a very cool track bike being offered by a gentleman who also had a nice Raleigh Pro. Very tempted to purchase it, but fixed gear machines are not my thing.
A rain downpour kind of dampened things for a short time, but all in all it was a nice event in my opinion, although the Fall swap always seems better.
