Subject: [CR] WTB: Top-tube mounted brake cable stops

As two original Simplex chromed cable clamps on a 1974 tinker- toy Alan have failed, I thought I'd replace them with a pair of brake cable stops, with taught bare cable running the length of the top tube. I have searched for them online, and not found them, maybe from not using the right terminology.

In truth, I haven't looked at enough bikes to know that such clamp-on devices exist, though I expect so, as there is a small one by Campagnolo on the chainstay for the rear der cable, and braze ons are still in stock for frame builders.
