Thanks to John Barron for years ago starting this award and being the consummate "jury foreman".

Also thanks to the 2010 selection committee, including Lou Deeter as an important from-the-start, all of whom did a stellar job in receiving, processing the many nominations and finally voting in the winner.

Hilary Stone traveled over from his home in Bristol, England to present a very interesting talk about Thanet bicycles and his journey in writing his book on that subject. How much nicer it was to then see him win this very prestigious CRVBA award! Of course many of you are aware of his long interest & expertise in vintage lightweights, including editing the vintage bicycle column in Cycling Plus, his contributions to the CTC magazine, and on and on.

Congrats to all and special thanks to Wayne & MJ for being such gracious hosts at this year's Cirque!
