Hello Norman
I think this email from you in a follow-up to earlier threads that have
taken place over dating and colours for Paul's Holdsworth.
>From memory, I don't think I suggested my Professional frame, although
purchased in 1982, *was *built in that year, merely that it was a guide by
frame number as when his may have been built. (I have deleted the emails
now). But recall his was a much higher number than miine
In fact, I recall my number being earlier than his, so if you can date his to early 1980, does this mean that mine may have been a late 70's I wonder? It is interesting as your description reminded me that my frame had chrome tips on front forks, and the faces of the rear drop-outs. This I had forgotton.
I have literature of Pro's dated 1982 and later, 84, I think. My email reply to Paul should be clearer on that, as I have now filed the folder away (in another location to my home).
If I can supply any copies I am only too pleased to assist.
Regards Derek Athey Honiton, Devon UK
does this mean that mine may have been a late 70's I wonder?
