Hello All,
I can no longer resist this thread....
I'm lucky. My wife, Linda has been my riding companion for many years.
>From being our first female club member to participate in Cats Hill and Marin Crits in the early 80s to enduring double centuries and multi-week self contained tours to being my faithful stoker. She knows her way around Hetchins and Cinellis, yet she would never admit it.
You may stop reading here, I may stray into OT territory. She has also followed me into other interests: Alfa Romeos (she kept her cool when our just purchased Duetto blew a head gasket on its first drive) to yearly trips to the Monterey Historics. Recently she has taken a keen interest on my rediscovered motorcycle passion- Ducati Diana and Bultaco Metralla.
Now that our kids are older, and we find ourselves with a little more time, we are now able to rekindle that bond that we established so long ago.
I am now back on topic. You can continue reading if you wish : ) We're both looking forward to L ' Eroica this year.
Regards,
David Martinez
