Thank you all who discerned this anomaly of the subject, and cared enough to comment through your replies. At $2500.00 USD, the eBay winning bid, along with another $145.00 USD for its international shipping, I for one will use much more discretion when getting excited about such a venerable vintage namesake as Cinelli, being that my eyes did pop when I viewed the photos of the bottom bracket.
It's really too bad, that it seems that those who aren't seemingly in the know will break such a piggy for that object, obsessiveness perhaps?
And then, what if I did save the $2500 for the real McCoy? Would the "market" in these days have justified the price/correct-item? Is there a market? We'll have to wait and see...
