Hi Tony and others,
I had the same experience as you on two different OS 753 frames. I ride a 54/ 55 cm frame and in my size, they are very stiff, both the 3V and the Waterford (Paramount).
But, I have spent considerable miles on both a Merckx 753 and a Look Hinault 753, and both were absolute magic for me. Light, responsive and very nice ride 'feel' on any road surface, up and down mountain passes etc. Wish I still had either, no wait, both! of those bikes.
Based on those two, I have declared in person and in writing over the years that 753 is hands down my favorite tubing. But then I rode the OS versions. I think size may be a factor, as my tall friends, here on the list and otherwise, have loved their OS 753 bikes.
