Find yourself a good tire with good flat protection & road adhesion if you plan to put any serious miles on your tubulars. Sealant is great if you are in a real bind & there is no other way out. The real problem with sealant is that it is no guarantee. For me it has been 50% at best & quite often if it gets you home it fails soon after. The biggest problem with sealant is that once it's in there, there is almost no chance of fixing the tire. Carry a spare tire with you!!!

Buy a good, but economical tire. I have had real good luck with Tufo Jet Special's. They are on the narrow side but grip like crazy & are tough to puncture. A friend of mine runs Conti Gatorskins with the same luck. Both you can find online for a reasonable price.
