I think you're correct in that they didn't change, but there were two different styles of eyeleted fork ends: the stamped "Gran Sport" version and the forged #1010 version. The forged fork ends can be distinguished by the raised, machined clamping surface. The clamping surface of the Gran Sport model was flush with the rest of the dropout and not machined.
