I have a 1972 Bottechia Professional model, white w. chrome fork ends about 12/15cm. 60/t X 58c/c. It might be a'73 but I don't think so. Decals are almost intact, few small defects, and almost all original, and with some spiffing would be a cherry with great patina example of this vintage. Metal headbadge, paint is clean with few little scratches adding to character of it's classic age and use. Was ridden by a gent in our club, I sold the bike originally, he never raced it and it has maybe 5-10 years easy riding. My first shop decal which many of you have seen on some bikes, is still complete and intact. Silca pump, umbrella clip, Universal C/P's, needs new hoods, the Universal shoes and pads have been replaced with time correct Dia Compe, stopped better for sure. Campy Record equipped, RD and QR's have no scratches, clean, clean. HF 36H hubs, 4X Stella spokes St St, 15/16or17 gauge. Fiamme old logo rims. Paris Roubaix setas, tubes don't hold air but casings still good and not separating, rubber flexy and soft so could have tubes replaced and the tires would be dynamite on the bike for looks. Steel pedals with strap loop, Original Blue Binda straps. Unica Nitor nylon road saddle, no scuffs. Cinelli bars, the short riser reach Cinelli stem was replaced by me at shop with a Nitto stem with about 12mm higher rise so the stem could be raised for easier riding. This is the same quality stem as the NJS stuff, and we did this a lot to be safe and give our riders more comfort and security. 90mm extension. I could put on a Cinelli if buyer so specifies. Seat post bolt was replaced with one of those nifty Carlton ones with the big 'C' on the red nut plate. Those old Italian ones stripped or bent too easily. This bike is in very very nice condition, one owner, and kept inside the house in the rider's den. Price owner would like is $799 shipped CONUS, frate adjusted for other destinations. I'll pack and ship bike myself. If you're into Italian bikes or would like one, this is one to seriously consider. I don't have any network photo posting, but If it's something you'd like to consider, I can scan and Jpeg fotos for your pleasure Thanks for your reading time and interest, not many like this come along.
