This is the typical patch kit, I remember from my early tyre patching days in England. Ebay 330448472800
The crayon was for marking the hole and if my memory is correct the small round tin contained talc or powdered chalk. I also remember thin round rubber tubes for valve repair but I don't see them in this kit. That would be around 1963 to 1965.
