Hi,
lugs look right but the fork crown looks wrong for a 1960's Olmo, I agree the oddity of the rear dropouts is out of place.

> Strange that the color and lugs do look like a 1960s Olmo, but the short
\r?\n> rear dropouts with holes for the Campag Portacatena mechanism, look like late
\r?\n> 1970s.

\r?\n> Subject: [CR] Italian frame ID help
\r?\n>
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Dear list,
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I have acquired a vintage frame which I'm told is Italian.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> The memory of the previous owner (aged 75+) is a little rusty - much like
\r?\n> the frame itself.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> He said it was an Italian make beginning with "O".
\r?\n>
\r?\n> So I'm guessing Olmo or Olympia...
\r?\n>
\r?\n> He also mentioned it was made in Milan although he was somewhat vague on
\r?\n> that.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> There is the number "56" stamped on the seat post lug.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> >From pix I've seen of early Olmo frames the seat lug looks very similar.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> There appears to be no other distinguishing marks.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Seatpost is 26.8. Takes 27" wheels. Campag forks ends and rear dropouts.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Most of the frame appears to be fully chromed under the paint.
\r?\n>
