Subject: [CR] Relative stack heights for CR timeline Headsets

Folks, I've checked the archives and Velo base and now appeal to the greater Brother/Sisterhood of vintage bicycle riders. I have a frameset that has just a few scant threads engaging the top locknut. I have measured the stack height of several Campy and other headsets looking for a lower stackheight to create space for a center pull cable hanger and for more positive engagement for the top nut.

I can't yet locate my box of Stronglight headsets and various other non Campy models. I know that Tange makes some basic/nondescript models currently that are low on the stack height scale. Before I send off for one I wonder if anyone in a similar situation has suggestions for models with low stackheights on the low 30's but keeping with the vintage look.

TIA for any good info....
