1. Girlfriend is easily distracted by the scenery - can't blame her! 2. Hard to store in the apartment/dorm when in college. 3. Hard to store in house or garage when you have a family. 4. Wife can't bear to leave the kids behind when you wanna ride. 5. Cutting in half doesn't do any good when getting a divorce.

6. Can't exactly toss on top of the car when you have to move out.

7. Can't exactly ride it up to the property manager's office - else they'll think you lied about your post-divorce income and cancel the rental.

8. So it's back up for sale at the LBS you hang out at - where you first started as a youngster 20 years before.
