The other day, I dropped in on Baron's store here in Santa Barbara. As I was coursing through the stuff, which is just everywhere and something like 4 more shipping containers are going to come in from Scandinavia, I thought, gee, I really should replace these old tattered and off-topic Pearl Izumi gloves while I am here.
So I procured a pair of the palomino-colored leather and very nice crochet Planet Bike gloves. Well, yes there is a velcro closing under the label, as well as a small darker brown leather area at the base of the palm. But, after about 60 miles, the hands/wrists are happy! Comfort-wise they are some of the best I've ever had, and I have been a Specialized body geometry glove guy mainly.
Baron charged the CR guy $12. Can't beat that. There are special deals for CR folk; we talked about some neat Roval wheels, too, which I could consider.
