When I first moved to the USA for college in 1979, I was astonished by the number of clearly manly men who wore pink Izod (avec alligator) Polo shirts or pink button-down Oxford shirts.
This was my first glimpse of the preppy look.
There was no such style here in Quebec, where until this day men dress like bikers or rockers or Mafiosi. We have no pink.
A traitor to my origins, one of my fave and dreamed for bikes is a Mercier SSC all in pink, just like this one:
