Oops,
I see in his description at the bottom of the page that he used some blue glitter brake lever covers. It looked like he had found some sparkly blue Plasti-Dip tool handle dip. Which is an interesting idea in itself, though I'm not sure where I'd use it.

\r?\n> I believe the 1969-1972 Gitane TdF and Super Corsa frames
\r?\n> to be the
\r?\n> perfect archetype of that distinctive window in a period of
\r?\n> great bike
\r?\n> building history. I have two '71s, one each.
\r?\n> Pry my cold, dead...
\r?\n>
\r?\n> well, you get the idea.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Other archetypes bikes do exist. These Gitanes,
\r?\n> however, are beloved
\r?\n> by pretty much anyone who has ever ridden one. THIS
\r?\n> one is a real
\r?\n> beauty.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I'm guessing you saw my re-outing of this in the BF C&V
\r?\n> section, eh?
\r?\n>
\r?\n> This is a meticulous renovation and a fantastic gift to the
\r?\n> man's wife.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> IMHO.
