Thanks Freek,

the frames look simular to each other except from some little details like the brazeons for the shifters, my lugs are also not numbered, the bottombracket serial is P1909 and on the backdroupst are marked with a C, the front dropouts have no inscription.

well i don't know if it's a real one, but is a very light bicycle, much lighter than a Gazelle Champion mondial with Super AA frame (that was to only one i could compare it whit at this moment).

Nice! And nice but slightly infuriating mix of French and Italian parts.

And many similarities with my '78 team Champion. Maybe this will spark off another 'welles nietes' discussion about it really being a Team Champion ... http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Freeks-racefietsen/1978+Motobecane+Team+Champion/

Today my dad got a Motobecane Team CHampion For free from my Neighbour, it's in excellent condition, i only had to remove the dust.

the strange thing is that there are no decals on the bike, only "motobecane" in an plastic relief on the uppertube and a front badge. this was the original bike setup, not really beautifull but special in a way.

check the pictures here: i don't need informaion about the bike, it's just nice t have a look
